Alhamdulillah, eight years of studying tafseer with Meena Baji have taught me that the Quran is not only to be recited but to be lived. Through her patience, Wisdom, and dedication, she opened my heart to the deeper meanings of Allah’s words and shaped the way I live and connect with the Quran in my daily life. These years of learning have changed me in ways I cannot repay.
Jessica lahu Hayden for every lesson, every reminder, and every dua. I will carry her teachings with me always.
May Allah bless her with barakah in her knowledge except her tireless efforts, and make every word she taught a means of sadaqah jariyah for her in this world and the next. Ameen

Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Almighty Allah and your continuous dedication and hard efforts, we have been able to complete the Quran with so much understanding and love and with much more strong Emaan.
Before, I used to read the Quran without understanding much, but through Meena baji’s tafsir class, I have learned so much and feel more connected to the Quran. It has changed the way I think and live now.
Now we are about to finish the Quran, and I am so thankful to be part of this journey. May Allah reward Mina bhaji for all her efforts and bless her with endless Barakah. Ameen

When I joined Sister Mona Khan’s Qur’an Tafseer class, I came to realize that the Qur’an is not only meant to be recited but also understood and applied in our daily lives. Under her guidance, I learned the importance of reciting with proper Tajweed and showing respect to the Qur’an as it deserves. Step by step, she opened doors for us to build a deeper connection with Allah’s Book.
Along with Tafseer, she introduced us to books such as Seerah, Namaz-e-Nabawi and Mera Jeena Mera Marna, which taught us how to improve our salah and shape our lives according to the Qur’an and Sunnah. Through this journey, I have been able to work on my character, strengthen my relationships, and practice love and respect purely for the sake of Allah.
This experience has shown me that the Qur’an is not just a book of recitation, but a complete guide for life. I am deeply grateful that Allah chose Sister Mona as the means for me to connect with His Book and walk on this path.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your wonderful teachings. Your patience and kindness make every lesson enjoyable, and I’m so grateful for you simplifying the rules of the Tafseer, making my journey to read the Quran so much easier, and I feel more connected to the quran’s teachings than ever before. Thank you for creating such a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.
Inshallah, I will stay with you for the rest of the future Journey.
May Allah reward you abundantly for your dedication and efforts. Jazakallah Khair.

First of all, I would like to say that when this class started, Meena said to me, “Nighat, I’m starting it- will you do this class?” And as I usually respond, I said, “Oh, I’m very busy.” Then Meena said, “No, just try, give it a shot.” And from that point on, it’s been 13 years, Mashallah, Alhamdulillah by Allah’s Grace and Meena’s help, that I got hooked on this class.
Now my life feels empty without it, and inshallah I want to start it again. I know the impact it’s had on my life, the peace and tranquility it’s brought me, and the changes it’s made. It’s a lot for me, but I’m trying to slowly increase that, connect more with the Quran, and learn more things.
